About this resource

The purpose of this resource is to share good practice by providing early years practitioners with examples of short term plans as a springboard to aid their own planning in an individual setting. Twelve topics have been chosen that support the EYDCP "Footsteps" package. The Themes are ideas for a range of activities that can take place alongside your scheme of work. A blank template is available for medium term planning.

We hope you will find this resource useful. You are welcome to copy, print and edit the material for education purposes in your setting.
