The SWGfL Film Animation Competition - a special announcement !
Across the south-west in 2009, local authorities set up their very own film animation competitions. We had the Noscars, the Wiscas, the Swiscars and many others, from Cornwall up to Gloucestershire. North Somerset's theme was "Around the World in 80 Days." Somerset's theme was "Making the Right Choices."
Teachers set to work with their classes, and schools submitted some excellent animations. Red-carpet events took place over the summer and some school teams of animators went home with armfuls of well deserved prizes.
Now, you have had the chance to see all of these winning entries from across the south-west in our regional competition. You have voted for your favourite animations in the three categories.
So here they are - the best of the best!
