A new dress up day for a marvellous children's charity.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity is inviting school children up and down the country to get creative by going to school on one day in September dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character. There are plenty to choose from – Oompa-Loompas, the BFG (that’s a Big Friendly Giant), The Twits, Willy Wonka, Matilda, Fantastic Mr. Fox and all those other phizz-whizzing folk from Roald Dahl’s stories which have caught the imaginations of millions of children all over the world.

Friday 30th September has been designated as the first ever Dahlicious Dress Up Day and children will be asked to donate just £1 to dress up and wow their friends and teachers with their splendiferous costumes, masks or face paint. The money raised will go to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity to help fund much needed specialist nurses, support and equipment for children with lifelong and life-limiting neurological or blood conditions.
