SWGfL Trust ICT Regional Conferences have attracted audiences of 600+ every year. Ordinarily hosting 2 conferences across the region, Bristol and Torquay, it is felt this year that we will host only the Bristol Conference and aim to maximise attendance at one event. This year we aim to encourage not only educators and ICT professionals from the South West but to also delegates from neighbouring regions and those who are not affiliated to a RBC, such as Independent Schools and Colleges, Universities and HE establishments, Newly-formed Academies and Newly Qualified Teachers.
At a time when local authority cuts have reduced the infrastructure support for schools across the region, support from national external bodies such as Becta have gone and schools are becoming increasingly independent in their own procurement, this conference offers a unique opportunity for suppliers to maintain and develop relationships with the schools and more specifically, the decision-makers in those schools.
With a national reduction in such conferences and the onus now being transferred onto schools
to source their ICT provisions directly, we feel that this is an opportunity not to be missed for
those organisations that trade in ICT in Education.

Exhibitor Terms and Conditions
New for 2011
The exhibition this year is shaping up to be rather exciting, with a good mix of reputable companies who share a passion for ICT-enhanced Teaching and Learning keen to be involved again this year. A radical change in the layout of the venue has resulted in a more interactive, inclusive space where the exhibition is at the heart of the conference. Proactive changes for 2011;
- Additional targeted marketing campaign which aims to encourage delegates from secondary schools, FE and HE colleges, academies, independent schools and delegates from outside the South West
- Change of floor plan. Refreshment points distributed amongst exhibition
area. Main stage at rear of venue forcing delegates through exhibition area to access. Substantially less seating for delegate dining, encouraging interaction in other parts of the venue
- ‘First Come, First Served’ Exhibitor booking system. Exhibitors will be able to choose their location and floor space from a pre-mapped plan. Aiding exhibitors to direct delegates to their location in pre-conference communications
- Free WI-FI
- Exhibitor refreshment kiosk. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to purchase their lunch
at a separate, dedicated kiosk thus avoiding the queues associated with mass dining
As per 2010 event, all delegates have to select 4 seminar sessions throughout the day, of which one is required to be an exhibition slot, thus ensuring that all delegates have the opportunity to visit the exhibition.
Cost
Floor space will be available at the cost of £120 + VAT per m2
