RM Easymail Plus is a Web-based email service available as an optional service from SWGfL. Because RM EasyMail Plus has been designed specifically for education, it covers issues that are important to schools:

Safety & Security: RM Easymail Plus keeps users protected. With industry leading anti-virus protection, combined with top quality anti-spam, and banned word filtering, you can be sure your users can communicate with the protection they need.

Flexible User Interfaces: RM Easymail Plus provides three templates to meet the differing needs of different users, plus it also gives the ability to use Microsoft Outlook if that’s your preferred interface.

Easy to manage, cost effective solution: RM Easymail plus is easy to manage, creating a new user takes only 17 seconds. Because of its intuitive interface, and low management requirements, RM Easymail Plus is a great email solution for schools.

With full web-based administration of the service and a choice of templates (or 'skins'), you're in control of your establishment's e-mail service.

You can also choose to use the banned word list, or the powerful restriction list functionality, both of which increase the safety of your users.

Microsoft Live@edu is an e-mail service created for schools. Delivered through the familiar Outlook Web Access (OWA), it can be co-branded with your school’s name and logo for all users. Microsoft Live@edu includes access to other programs and services that increase your school’s ability to collaborate and communicate, including calendars, document sharing, shared workspaces, blogs, instant messaging, video chat, mobile e-mail and document access, and address books.

With 10 gigabytes (GB) of e-mail storage and 25 GB of additional file storage through SkyDrive (online storage), students can participate in online tutorials, collaborate on assignments, discuss ideas with staff. Microsoft Live@edu is accessible through popular Web browsers for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

Microsoft Live@Edu is a free service by itself, but we think there are certain services you need from your email solution in school. We’ve taken these things, and wrapped them around the free service (SLA, Service Desk, Provisioning and Migration) .

If you'd like to host your own mail platform (for example, if you'd like to use Microsoft Exchange Server), we can provide an SMTP feed which delivers all mail sent to your domain directly to a mail server that you have set up at your site. This gives you full administrative control over your email platform.

The SMTP feed benefits from the same virus and Spam filtering which runs on the RM Easymail Plus platform.
