Advice on Staying Safe

Help and advice for young peopleHelp & Advice for Young People

Help and advice on e-safety issues is available from various different places.

There are a few key organisations for you to contact if you are worried about something and need some help or advice. Go to the 'Contacts for Young People' page and find the details for Childline, There4me and Thinkuknow.

ChildLine is the free helpline for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call us on 0800 1111 to talk about any problem – counsellors are always available to help you sort it out.

The Thinkuknow website is there to challenge what you know about the internet and safe surfing. It covers topics incuding gaming, podcasting, chatting and much much more.

The most important thing to remember is if you are worried about something, TELL SOMEONE YOU CAN TRUST! There is always help available.
