This is a
simple project which takes the group through the entire process
of originating images from found source materials. In this case
the source materials can be 2 or 3 dimensional and it is a perfect
project to explain the use of dimensions in art or science.
The students
are asked either to develop some colour painting or drawing work
in or out of class. Don't exceed A4 (297X210mm) in size as most
scanners only scan up to this size. This could be themed on say
pets or animals.
The paintings,
images or even fluffy animals are then scanned into the computer
and manipulated.
The resulting
images are saved and then printed as decals for T-shirts or on
paper.
