This project is
aimed at students who are interested in music, ICT and design. A mixed
ability group works well as there are a variety of stages and delegated
roles. The objective is to record and produce your own CD within an
intensive four to five day session.
The project not
only inculcates an understanding of music technology but develops group
work and collaborative practice. This is ideal for a half term or end
of term session where a week can be set aside.
This project requires
a workshop leader with music technology skills, a willing teacher and
plenty of energy. Group size is ideally eight to ten students working
in groups.
