E-safety Live 2012 took place in London on 20 March and Edinburgh on 22 March and what events they were!

We are very grateful for the feedback which both delegates and sponsors provided us with on the event days and thereafter. As always you told us you needed more time to participate and ask questions in each session and gave us some very constructive suggestions on how we can make these events even better next time around.

Most importantly 82% of delegates in London and 78% of those in Scotland said they would attend the conference again next year!

For a flavour of both events, these are two short films put together by two teams of young roving reporters who came to the event with Digitalme:

London event – as reported by Riversdale Primary School

Edinburgh event – as reported by St Paul’s Primary School

Here are also some of the comments from delegates about the events:
E-Safety Live

  • “A thoroughly informative day and excellent value for money.”

  • “ Really useful day that left me ‘buzzing’ with ideas to take back. One of the best CPD events I have ever attended.”

  • “Good to see the focus was about embracing the internet in a safe way with excellent examples of positive use of the internet rather than always focusing on the dangers”.

  • “Really good day out and came away empowered and ready to make some changes.”

  • “An excellent, well organised event. Thoroughly enjoyable and provided me with plenty to think about once I was back at school. Thank you!”

  • “Lots of fuel for thought – and action!”

  • “All speakers spoke with great understanding and enthusiasm for their topic”.

  • “The whole event was inspiring, learned so much – every speaker was great”.

  • “I found all speakers to be approachable and more than willing to discuss any questions on a one to one basis. This I found extremely helpful”.

  • “I felt that the range of resources on offer [at the Information and Exhibitor Fair] were excellent and seemed to take into consideration the variety of backgrounds in which delegates came from”.

If you attended the events, you should have received an email from us with a link to our Resources Area where you can find speaker presentations, links and useful information shared during the day. We hope to see you again at our next events!
