SWGfL is a not for profit charity ensuring everyone can benefit from technology free from  harm. Forming 1/3 of the UK Safer Internet Centre, our experts advise schools, public bodies and industry on appropriate actions to take in regards to safeguarding and advancing positive online safety policies.

ProjectEVOLVE - Supporting Digital Development

ProjectEVOLVE is a free digital literacy toolkit that supports online development in children and young people. It assists professionals in educating, guiding, and supporting them through their use of technology in their online life.

The toolkit covers over 600 separate resources that cover various topics and age ranges from very young children, right up to 18.  It establishes some of the fundamental building blocks around the right sort of education needed for their online development and wellbeing - what's even better, it's free to use!

Professionals Online Safety Helpline

One of the many services and helplines SWGfL operates is the Professionals Online Safety Helpline. This service launched in 2011 and has supported professionals working with children and young people with any online safety issue they may be facing. Earlier this year, we were pleased to launch the helpline's annual report, looking at the data and trends that have been seen throughout 2021 - 2022.
