Guide to the Royal Bath & Easy Cliff HotelThe Royal Bath Hotel, which has for a number of years been recognised as the "Hotel de Luxe" of the South, is most beautifully situated on the slope of the East Cliff. Immediately below it the sea washes the cliffs, and in the distance, across the beautiful bay, stretching away to the right, can be seen Durlstone Head, "Old Hary Rocks", the Isle of urbeck, Corfe Castle, and the Entrnce to Poole Harbour; and to the left, Hengistbury Head, Hurst Castle, the entrance to the Solent, the Needles, and - in the far distance - St. Catherine's Point; a view unrivalled in the world. "The English and American Gazette," Jan., 1899, says:- "The Hotel is situated in the centre of the sea-front of Bournemouth, which, in its turn, is situated in the middle of this grand Bay. The whole of the Hotel Grounds face due South, and, from the windows of the Hotel, uninterrupted iews can be obtained of the South and West.
