The hot and cold sea water baths, now completed at Torquay, by Mr Pollard, are spoke of with reasoned praise by all medical and other discerning men. Torquay, so generally and highly approved of as a watering place, and for the invalid, from the peculiar mildness of the air and being perfectly sheltered from all the cold winds, affording most excellent and well furnished lodging houses, surrounded by the most picturesque and delightful scenery, that even Devonshire can boast, but wanted this establishment to render it complete for every purpose of a health giving watering place.
