Look at the print of the Harbour 1850. What differences do you notice? Look at the buildings - are they the same? Is the harbour as busy? Is it less built up?

Look at the print called Torquay Harbour 1825. How can we tell that this is an earlier picture? Look at the roads, houses and buildings and ships in the harbour.

Look at the photograph called Seafront (late 19th century). What changes have taken place? Is it busier? Look at boats in the harbour, the roads, houses and the land use.
